Fighting against the causes and conditions of poverty is not insurmountable. Collectively, we can work together as part of a multi-faceted effort to make an impact on poverty each and every day. Access to Justice and scrutinizing root causes of poverty is something everyone can support in ways big and small. It is now more vital than ever that our justice and policy leaders hear the voices of ALL Virginians. Since 1978, VPLC has been committed to leading and coordinating efforts to seek justice in civil legal matters for those in poverty among us.
We are that voice.
Your generous contributions go directly to our work, ensuring that all Virginians have access to justice. We provide statewide leadership, support, training, public education, and advocacy to address the civil legal needs of our low-income neighbors. We do this through Virginia’s legal aid organizations, pro bono attorneys, partner agencies and advocates, elected officials, and you.
Your gift helps to advocate for laws that will enhance services and programs for our low-income family, friends, and neighbors, and fights against legislation that would negatively impact them.
Your gift makes you a part of the foundation that enables us to continue being a respected leader in civil legal poverty law issues. Together, we form a united voice.
