VPLC’s 2012 Legislative Review

With another General Assembly session behind us, the staff at the Virginia Poverty Law Center (VPLC) has had some time to reflect on what our advocacy work means and why it matters. Regardless of which political party holds a majority in the state legislature, and in spite of the often negative rhetoric that comes with the type of work we do, at the end of the day VPLC can feel proud of the fact that we never lose sight of the people we advocate on behalf of — low-income Virginians.  Please take a few minutes to look through our 2012 Legislative Review, which highlights some of the work we did during this year’s General Assembly session.
