Rodney has limited mobility and applied for disability benefits. He contacted legal aid to ask for their assistance after he received a letter of denial. A legal aid attorney appealed the decision, and Rodney received the benefits he needed to be able to live independently. With the aid of a walker, Rodney can get out and socialize at the Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Center, where he’s a fierce dominoes competitor and the reigning Uno champion. Rodney also enjoys Twilight Zone marathons with others who live in his income-eligible senior.
