Need Health Coverage? Only 4 Days Left Before the Feb. 15th Deadline to Sign up
Wednesday, February 11th, 2015
Virginians only have 4 days left to get covered through HealthCare.gov before open enrollment ends this Sunday on February 15th. More than 329,000 Virginians have already signed up for coverage and the vast majority of them have qualified for financial help with their premiums. Virginians who signed up are receiving an average of $260 per month ($3,120 per year) to reduce the cost of their health insurance.
If you or someone you love needs health coverage, there are a lot of different ways to enroll and help is available online, over the phone and in-person throughout Virginia.
- Online: Information is available at HealthCare.gov or CuidadoDeSalud.gov.
- By Phone: Marketplace Call Center representatives are available to help all day, every day at 1-800-318-2596. TTY users should call 1-855-889-4325. Assistance is available in other languages. The call is free.
- In person: VPLC has partnered with community based organizations to provide access to trained application assisters throughout Virginia through the ENROLL Virginia program. You can find an assister or navigator near you at enrollva.org or by calling us at 1-888-392-5132.
If consumers do not enroll by February 15, they generally will not be able to enroll in health coverage through HealthCare.gov for 2015 unless they qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
